Any group requiring the reservation of four to ten tee times is considered a group outing.
Group Outings on the Championship or Executive courses can be scheduled:
•Mondays through Thursdays at any time.
•Fridays before 12:00 Noon.
•Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays after 12:00 Noon.
For safety reasons non-players, walk-alongs or ride-alongs are not permitted on the golf course at any time. |

•Initially, determine as closely as possible (40 maximum), the number of players that will be participating in the group outing.
•Group Outings can be scheduled either on Mondays through Thursdays at any time, Fridays before 12:00 Noon or Saturdays, Sundays and
Holidays after 12:00 Noon. Select a suitable date and time and preferably two alternate dates. Contact Inver Wood to determine whether
your dates are available. The earlier you make this determination the better. We recommend calling at least 90 days prior to the date you desire.
•Once a date and time for your group outing has been solidified, you will receive a group contract which will verify the date and time of
your group outing. The contract will also outline the services agreed upon and the payment required.
•Eight (8) days prior to your group outing, you must inform us of the exact number of players that will be participating and pay in full all green fees and any applicable fees.
•Quality prizes and awards are a hallmark of a well run event. Develop your prize structure well ahead of time so that you can order the appropriate items.
Items such as shirts, towels, balls, etc. can be ordered with your organization's name or logo imprinted.

•Inver Wood's deli counter features sandwiches, snacks, beverages and beer. A beverage car is on the course to serve beverages and snacks during your round.
•Personalized prizes may be ordered through the Golf Shop. When ordering, allow 60 days to insure delivery
•Special event markers can be provided. Our staff will help you in deciding which holes are most appropriate.
•A scoreboard and / or score sheets are available by request.

An important part of planning a group outing is selecting
the format for competition. We suggest the following:
SCRAMBLE (BEST SHOT)
•This is the most popular format when there is a wide variation in golfing ability.
•All players on the team hit from the tee. The best shot is then selected and all players hit their next shot from that position. This process continues until the
ball is holed out. Only one score is kept for each team.
BEST BALL LOW NET
•This format is excellent for team play when the handicaps of the players are well established.
