18 Hole Men’s Patron Match Play Championship

EVENT FORMAT
ELIGIBILITY: All Match Play Championship contestants must be current patron card holders. Entry preference based on the following order:
1. Resident card holders.
2. Non-Resident card holders.
COMPETITION: This year’s Match Play Championship will be comprised of a 32 player match play bracket. A total of five matches over the five (5) month season from
May through September will determine the ultimate match play champion and runner-up. In addition, a consolation bracket of matches will be conducted on the same
timeframe to determine both a consolation champion and runner-up.
Bye matches within the first round will be determined by numerical draw (entry order). Matches will be conducted in the following timeframe:

| June 30th | Round Two (2) of championship bracket matches.
Round One (1) of consolation bracket matches. |
| July 31st | Round Three (3) of championship bracket matches.
Round Two (2) of consolation bracket matches. |
| August 31st | Round Four (4) of championship bracket matches.
Round Three (3) of consolation bracket matches. |
| September 30th | Championship Match of championship bracket.
Consolation Championship Match of consolation bracket. |
All players must have a current U.S.G.A. handicap. The format of play will be individual match play based on net scores. The higher handicap player will receive the difference between his and
his opponent’s handicap, with that number of strokes taken as the strokes fall on the scorecard, beginning with the number one handicap hole.
Players are responsible for communicating with their opponents to arrange match times and an agreed upon tee time. All matches must be played by the dates shown above or they will be forfeited.
ENTRY FEES AND FORMS
Individual Entry Fee (for Prize System): $ 30
All contestants will pay the eighteen hole patron green fee prior to each match.
All patron card holders interested in playing in the Match Play Championship must fill out an entry form and return it to the Inver Wood Golf Shop. Entry Deadline is Thursday, May 1, 2008 |
